That Stubborn Belly Fat

You’ve struggled with weight issues but nothing even comes close to the menopause belly. No matter how much you try to restrict your calories or how hard you work out, that stubborn belly fat just doesn’t seem to budge.


You’re a woman of substance and you know looks aren’t everything. You do want to better manage your weight and you’re concerned that an increasing waist-to-hip ratio may put you at a higher risk for chronic illnesses. These illnesses usually start with slightly “out-of-range” lab results, such as high fasting glucose level, LDL and triglycerides. But most likely, you’re not experiencing any symptoms except for fatigue, cravings and mid-afternoon slumps or “sugar crashes.” The reality is, having a protruding belly can be a sign of a number of diseases, including metabolic syndrome, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.


Menopausal Discomfort

As if the stubborn belly fat wasn’t enough, you are also dealing with menopausal symptoms like brain fog, fatigue, lethargy, hot flashes, night sweats, acne, dry skin, hair loss, mood swings, irritability, insomnia, anxiety, depression… You probably are feeling out of breath just thinking about them.

Because I have been there with a mysteriously expanded belly and was even diagnosed with prediabetes. But I managed to successfully shrunk my midlife belly, avoided most menopausal symptoms and even reversed my prediabetes. And I just hate to see another woman like you go through this tumultuous time without the help that you need.

I’m with you…

From the look of my photos, you may think, “Why, you’re too young to tell me what to do! Have you even gone through menopause?” The answer is “YES!” I struggled terribly and prematurely with peri-menopausal symptoms starting in my early 30s, suffered from fibroid tumors and ovarian cysts throughout my mid- to late-30s, and hit the menopause milestone at 46. Today, at 50, I feel healthier, fitter and more alive than ever.

Because of this amazing physical transformation, I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach to work with my fellow midlifers and help them get their energy, their health and their spark back!

My goal is to help you transform your health — and ultimately, your life — one bite at a time.
